With a central theme that revolves around the Almighty, Kamal's Dasavatharam walks through several threads of story that spans through centuries. On the whole, the movie will surely live the interest that's created around it. The story is not mind-boggling, but well, who'd watch this movie for its story! Watch the movie and you wouldn't be disappointed a bit.Ileana
Ileana, without doubt, is numero uno star in Tollywood. And one of the highest paid actresses in South India. She commands huge following among the current generation actresses almost equal to a top hero! She was a part of the success of movies such as Pokiri, Devadas, Jalsa, Raakhi and Bhale Dongalu. She's rarely seen talking in public. Last year, she attended the TANA convention in the USA, and when the organizers booked a very big hall to meet the audience, the hall was jam-packed and people were standing outside too just to have a glimpse of her! She answered all the questions very patiently. Though we met there, the interview didn't happen then. When Jalsa and Bhale Dongalu released, I called her to have a brief chit-chat. Here are the excerpts from our conversation..Sonal Chauhan

She has all the reason to smile. She has just made her debut but the name Sonal Chauhan has already become popular. Slender and tall, this beauty from Delhi made a dream debut in Bhatt's movie Jannat. Now she is hoping to get the same accolades in Telugu where she begins her journey with director V N Aditya's Rainbow which is readying up for release. Here she spoke to Telugucinema.com at length..
Massive stream of protesters in Islamabad
The “long march” for the reinstatement of judges sacked by President Pervez Musharraf was set to culminate in a massive rally near Parliament in the capital later on Friday.
Lawyers, political party workers and other protesters were streaming into the capital and converging at a site near Parliament, overlooking the presidential Aiwan-e-Sadr. The government did not make any attempt to stop the rallyists.
Instead, it managed to neutralise a potential confrontation by facilitating the rally and by providing water, toilets, dispensaries and other amenities. There was high security at the site. Hundreds of policemen were on duty and metal detectors were installed on the premises.
The stage, made of containers strung across the road, was also provided by the government. It was to double up as a barrier that the leaders of the “long march” agreed not to breach.
Aside from the presidency and Parliament, the prohibited “red zone” for the rallyists included the Supreme Court, Prime Minister’s House, several government offices and the Diplomatic Enclave.
Aside from lawyers and civil society workers, workers of the Pakistan Muslim league (N) participated in the march, which began at Multan and went to Lahore before proceeding towards the capital. Activists of the Jamat-i-Islami and Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf also took part.
The rallyists, who set off from Lahore on Thursday, made slow progress on the Grand Trunk Road, with roadside receptions at every step.
Deposed Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhary did not take part in the rally, but he spoke to the lawyers before they left Lahore; he was due to join the marchers outside the capital.
He told the lawyers in Lahore they had started a “revolution” with their movement for the restoration of the judiciary. PML(N) chief Nawaz Sharif made a fiery speech to the rallyists in Lahore, lashing out at the retired General Musharraf, at the judges he appointed to the Supreme Court, at the military for “trampling” on the Pakistani people “every 10 years” and the U.S. for not respecting Pakistan’s sovereignty.

Inflation soars to 7-year high
Inflation soared close to its seven-year high at 8.75 per cent for the week ended May 31, mainly owing to the continuing spurt in the prices of food articles and vegetables. This has led to apprehensions that the cascading effect of the fuel price hike could well push it to double digits in weeks.
With the WPI-based inflation rate surging from 8.24 per cent a week ago to the highest point in the UPA regime’s tenure at the Centre, the Left parties launched an attack on the government for its “slack attitude” to holding the price line and called for a paradigm shift in policies.
To curb the consumption of high-cost fuels, the government on Friday announced a steep hike in excise by way of an additional duty of Rs. 15,000-20,000 on fuel guzzlers such as large engine capacity cars, multiutility vehicles and sports utility vehicles.
To make more steel available in the domestic market by way of higher production and thereby stem its rising prices, the government slapped an ad valorem duty on iron ore exports and hiked the export duty on long steel products.
While inflation peaked to 8.77% in February 2001, the previous high for the UPA government was 8.33 per cent as per the provisional data for the week ended August 28, 2004.

CBI arrests compounder
NEW DELHI: Nearly a month after the murder of teenaged Aarushi Talwar and domestic help Hemraj, the Central Bureau of Investigation arrested her dentist-father Rajesh Talwar’s compounder Krishna on the basis of scientific tests conducted on him.
The agency, however, remained tight-lipped on the nature of his involvement in the double murder, which occurred in Dr. Talwar’s house at Noida, Uttar Pradesh, last month. Tests at FSL
Talking to journalists here on Friday, CBI Joint Director (Special Crime) Arun Kumar said Krishna was subjected to polygraph and narco-analysis tests at the Forensic Science Laboratory, Bangalore, on June 12. “Earlier, he was subjected to polygraph tests twice at the Central Forensic Science Laboratory, Delhi, and was also put through a psychological assessment test at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences on June 9.”
But Mr. Kumar did not reveal Krishna’s role in the murders, stating the charge sheet would contain details of his complicity.
Later in the evening, CBI Director Vijay Shankar told the media that court would be informed of Krishna’s role. It is suspected he has been arrested on charges of destruction of evidence.
Krishna, who, according to his family, had been kept in illegal detention by the CBI since June 3, was flown in here from Bangalore earlier in the day.
During the narco-analysis test at the Bangalore FSL, Krishna is learnt to have told the interrogators about regular visitors to the Talwars’ residence as also his whereabouts on the night of the murders. He was also asked about the relationship between Dr. Talwar and Aarushi. Talwar questioned
In another development, a team comprising CBI sleuths and a psychologist questioned Dr. Talwar at the Dasna jail in Ghaziabad, where he is in judicial custody.
Another CBI team questioned a Noida-based businessman, said to be close to the Talwars.
The CBI reportedly picked up a domestic help of Dr. Talwar’s colleague and family friend Anita Durrani for questioning.

GJM rejects Buddhadeb’s invitation for talks
KOLKATA: Even as Siliguri and adjoining areas in West Bengal remained tense on Friday with paramilitary forces patrolling the streets, the Gorkha Janamukti Morcha (GJM) turned down an invitation from Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee for talks here on June 18 to end the stalemate in Darjeeling hills.
“We have received a letter from the Chief Minister but what it states is that the talks will essentially be over ways to speed up development in the region when what we are seeking is nothing but a political solution to a political problem,” Roshan Giri, GJM general secretary, told The Hindu over telephone from Darjeeling.
“Let us see what happens,” Mr. Bhattacharjee said when he was asked about the GJM’s rejection of his invitation.
The GJM leadership, however, in deference to an appeal from Governor Gopalkrishna Gandhi, decided to further relax till June 16 its bandh, called to highlight its demand for a separate State. The bandh, which began on June 10, was to resume on Saturday after a 60-hour relaxation from Wednesday evening. “The Governor made a request for peace and normality in the region, so we have taken this decision,” Mr. Giri said.Demand for probe
The GJM leadership announced that the bandh would be observed indefinitely from June 17. The agitation would be stepped up unless the government ordered a probe into the attacks on GJM activists and those supporting the demand for statehood at Siliguri and in the Dooars area over the past two days and took action against those responsible.
The GJM expressed its displeasure at not being called for the June 17 all-party meeting convened by Mr. Bhattacharjee to find ways of ending the impasse in the region.
Mr. Giri reiterated that the GJM was willing to sit for talks on the statehood demand “but there should be tripartite discussions involving the Centre.”
Mr. Bhattacharjee earlier this week said his government was prepared to hold talks with the GJM on all issues provided it dropped the statehood demand — one that could not be entertained.
In Siliguri, the 48-hour bandh called by “Amra Bangali” and other organisations — which were opposed to the Gorkhaland statehood demand — from Thursday was curtailed and called off in the afternoon. Life limped back to normal as the day progressed but prohibitory orders under Section 144 Cr. PC remained in force in some areas of the town as well as in Malbazar in the Dooars. Six companies of the Central Reserve Police Force were deployed. Trinamool stand
The Trinamool Congress has agreed to send its representative to the all-party meeting on condition that all parties and groups involved with the developments in Darjeeling be invited. Sixteen parties have been invited for the talks.
“I do not think the GJM’s statehood demand is proper … But, by isolating them [from the proposed all-party talks] I do not believe any concrete discussion can take place,” said Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee. Congress no to division
New Delhi Special Correspondent reports:
The Congress on Friday said it was against division of West Bengal. This was in reaction to the GJM’s agitation for a separate Gorkhaland.
Congress spokesman Shakeel Ahmad said the West Bengal Pradesh Congress was against division of the State and that was the view of the All-India Congress Committee too.
He said it was on WBPCC chief Priyaranjan Dasmunsi’s suggestion that Mr. Bhattacharjee had called an all-party meeting next week to discuss the issue.
Asked whether that was the stand of the government as well, he said he was speaking for the party.

‘Dasavathaaram’ leaves fans excited
CHENNAI: For the fans of actor Kamal Haasan, the long wait for his magnum opus ‘Dasavathaaram’ was finally over on Friday, with their celebration varying from sheer excitement to absolute euphoria across theatres in the city.
Performing ‘abhishekams,’ garlanding huge images, dancing to his popular numbers – they couldn’t have looked happier. Posters and blown-up visuals of the star with messages from fans, who have their hero’s name prefixed to theirs – Kamal Ashok, Kamal Rizwanullah and Kamal Sivas – were put up at the entry points.
Nazeer Ahmed, who caught the first show at Albert theatre, came out grinning. “Take it from me. The film is going to be a super, duper hit. It’ll run for 500 days,” he said, perhaps, giving each avtar 50 days.
Doctor couple R. Chandrasekar and Gayathri flew down from Hyderabad just to catch the first show of the film. For Dr. Chandrasekar, a hard core Kamal fan, the first show at Albert was his second. “I managed to watch a preview show yesterday. The screenplay is just amazing,” he said, sporting a black ‘Dasavathaaram’ T-shirt, like many others there.
“Oh, I got this through our Orkut community of Kamal fans. I also booked my tickets through this online network,” he said. Though the Tamil and Telugu versions film were launched worldwide on Friday, he was here for the ambience and excitement. “No doubt, Kamal has done a great job. But director Ravikumar who has put this together also deserves praise. The screenplay is very racy and smooth,” said Ramesh, another fan.
Spokespersons of theatres said the response on day one was very satisfying and in some cases, overwhelming. At Sathyam Cinemas, all shows are full almost until next weekend.

Cosmetics (pronunciation: cosmetic (help·info)) are substances used to enhance or protect the appearance or odor of the human body. Cosmetics include skin-care creams, lotions, powders, perfumes, lipsticks, fingernail and toenail polishes, eye and facial makeup, permanent waves, colored contact lenses, hair colors, hair sprays and gels, deodorants, baby products, bath oils, bubble baths, bath salts, butters and many other types of products. Their use is widespread, especially among women in Western countries. A subset of cosmetics is called "make-up," which refers primarily to colored products intended to alter the user’s appearance. Many manufacturers distinguish between decorative cosmetics and care cosmetics.
The manufacture of cosmetics is currently dominated by a small number of multinational corporations that originated in the early 20th century, but the distribution and sale of cosmetics is spread among a wide range of different businesses. The U.S. FDA which regulates cosmetics in the United States[1] defines cosmetics as: "intended to be applied to the human body for cleansing, beautifying, promoting attractiveness, or altering the appearance without affecting the body's structure or functions." This broad definition includes, as well, any material intended for use as a component of a cosmetic product. The FDA specifically excludes soap from this category

Our land's freedom is our birthright"
The Tamils of Ampara have had to face the brunt of both Sinhala chauvinism and Muslim intimidation. But they have refused to submit or yield their national pride as Tamils. We have to show the world that we will never sell our dignity for a mess of pottage, that we will not be intimidated by the terror that the Sri Lankan state has unleashed on us. The democratic campaign of the Tamil national alliance for our people's rights will strengthen the struggle of those who are fighting for our Liberation. We do not believe that we can achieve anything for the Tamils from the Sri Lankan Parliament. We consider it only as a forum to draw the world's attention to our people's plight,"said Mr. Selvam Adaikalanathan, the leader of the Tamil Eelam Liberation Organisation, addressing an election campaign meeting of the Tamil national alliance Friday in Kalmunai, a large town on Sri Lanka's southeastern coast
KODAK Color Films: The Differences Between Professional Films and General Picture-Taking Films
Kodak manufactures color negative films and color reversal films forprofessional applications and general use. It is important tounderstand the different characteristics of films with the"professional" designation and those without it. These characteristicsare significant to professional photographers, photo hobbyists, andeveryday picture-takers.All color films are composed of several layers of complex emulsionsmade of different chemical compounds. Since these compounds tend tochange slowly with time, all color films will age, beginning on the daythey are manufactured. As films age, their color balance and othercharacteristics may change slightly. To provide films that meet theneeds of different types of photographers, Kodak allows for this agingprocess during manufacture.Kodak builds a small manufacturing bias into general picture-takingfilms to compensate for changes that usually occur during storage anduse. This bias allows for changes produced by room-temperature storageand for typical delays between purchase and processing. For example, ifa given film shifts toward yellow-green as it ages, it will bemanufactured with the color balance shifted toward blue-magenta tocompensate. The color balance of this film would shift away from blue-magenta during shipping and storage to provide a good color balanceover the normal period of use.The professional photographer has more demanding requirements than thegeneral picture-taker has. The professional photographer needs to knowthat a particular film is near its optimum color balance at the momentit is put into the camera. He or she must also be able to measure, through testing, any slight color or speed bias in a particular film oremulsion, and then adjust filtration and exposure to compensate. Kodakprofessional films are close to optimum color balance when they aremanufactured and packaged. The film will stay near this balance whenit is stored at 55 (13) or lower (under refrigeration)--until the"Process Before" expiration date printed on the film carton.Professional photographers tend to buy large quantities of film at onetime. To obtain the best quality and to save time and money, professional photographers need to know that the color balance andspeed of all of this film has been accurately established, that thefilm is consistent from roll to roll, and that it will not changesignificantly during the time the stock is being used.Professional color films are not kept in a camera for long periods.Generally, a professional photographer will have the film processedwithin hours or days after exposure so that the color balance doesn'tshift significantly. A photographer will often have film processed andchecked while holding expensive models or products and props on a set.Professionals need to be sure that the film reproduces colors in a waythat meets their clients' needs.Casual picture-takers, on the other hand, usually buy one or two rollsof film at a time. One roll of film may remain in the camerafor several weeks or months before being processed. The nominal filmspeeds of films intended for general picture-taking are provided on thefilm carton and in the instructions. Because of the exposure latitudeof Kodak films and typical conditions of use, exposing the film at thenominal film speed will produce good results for general picture-takingsituations.Kodak professional color films can usually be identified by the wordprofessional in the name--for example, KODAK EKTACHROME 100Professional Film. The names of other professional films for specialapplications usually contain a word that indicates the intended use ofthe films--for example, KODAK EKTACHROME Duplicating Film / 6121. Only professional films are supplied in sheets, multiple-roll pro-packs, andlong rolls. General picture-taking films, commonly referred to as"amateur" films, are sold as single rolls, and two or three rolls to apackage, depending on the film. The slightly higher cost of professional films is due to the increasedcost of manufacturing them. This cost includes the testing involved inproviding products with differing aim points, additional formats, andspecific film-speed ratings (within 1/3 stop) for batches of somefilms. For example, specific film-speed data, as well as reciprocityinformation for sheet sizes of KODAK EKTACHROME Professional Films, assist professional photographers doing critical work. Proper use ofthe supplementary data minimizes the amount of testing and film usagethat would otherwise be required to establish the exposure conditionsfor a high-quality professional photograph to meet the critical needsof commercial clients.Use all films before the expiration date printed on the film carton. You will also obtain the best quality when the film is processedpromptly after exposure.Storage Conditions for Kodak Color FilmsCurrent KODAK Films (amateur and professional) are more stable thanpast generations of films. However, all films are perishable productswith a typical pre-process life expectancy of 1 to 3 years.General picture-taking films are designed for room-temperature storage;professional films require refrigerated (55 degrees F [13 degrees C] or lower) storage.Professional films are not significantly more perishable, but theyrequire refrigeration because they are manufactured so that they arenear their optimum color balance at the time of shipment. Refrigerationreduces the effects of normal aging and provides minimum changesthroughout the life of professional films. Refrigerated storage willinsure minimum variability, but this does not preclude normal use onextended assignments under reasonable ambient conditions. You shouldprotect all films from high temperatures and high relative humidity;these conditions accelerate the changes associated with film aging. In general, you can expect minimal changes in amateur color negativefilms that are stored at 78 degrees F (25 degrees C) or lower during the first fewmonths. These changes become measurable after 3 to 9 months ofstorage. However, since this is the normal time during which themajority of film is used, these changes are anticipated and allowed forduring manufacture. Changes become more pronounced as the filmapproaches its "Process Before" date (printed on the film carton), butthese changes can be compensated for during printing. The degree of change is not significantly different for professionalcolor negative films. But because these films are near their optimumcolor balance when they are shipped, combining the same rate of changemay result in undesirable effects in prints from film approaching itsexpiration date if the film is stored at room temperature. Thesechanges also increase variability of results, which is unacceptable inapplications that require consistency. You can expect small, gradual changes at normal ambient conditions. These changes alone do not cause a significant loss of quality inamateur or professional films. However, in professional applications, this reduces the tolerance for other changes in the system that mightproduce quality losses when combined with film changes.Little or no change is observed in amateur color reversal films in thefirst few months of room-temperature storage. You can observe changesafter 3 to 9 months, but these changes are anticipated and allowed forduring manufacture. Again, the changes become more apparent as thefilm approaches its "Process Before" date. The most noticeable changewill be a slight shift in the overall color balance, but it will not beenough to adversely affect the normal use of these films. For professional reversal films under reasonable ambient conditions, nosignificant change is noticeable in the first couple of months. Colorshifts may be noticeable in the 3- to 9-month range, especially whenfilms are critically examined on an illuminator. Greater color shiftswill become apparent as the film reaches its expiration date, but theywill be within a range that is readily corrected in any reproduction(e.g., duplicating, photomechanical reproduction). However, sinceeditors and art directors may be influenced by moderate color shifts, refrigerated storage of professional color reversal films takes onincreased importance. Avoiding color shifts is especially importantwith reversal films because you cannot make corrections before judgingthe final image as you can with color negative films. Refrigeratedstorage assures maximum consistency and minimal change through theexpiration date.Films intended for amateur use do not require refrigerated storage;changes that may occur at normal room temperature are anticipatedduring manufacture. While the rate of change is not significantlydifferent in professional color films, more critical requirements inprofessional images, narrower tolerances for change, and the costsassociated with inconsistency in professional applications add to thevalue of refrigeration for extended storage. This does not precludeuse on extended assignments (a few weeks to a couple of months) if youavoid adverse conditions such as high temperature and high relativehumidity. A few specialty films intended for situations that prohibitrefrigerated storage are also available. These films, intended forroom-temperature storage, include KODAK EKTAPRESS GOLD ProfessionalFilms (available in 5-roll pro-packs and 50-roll press-packs) and KODAKEKTACHROME 64 Film and KODAK EKTACHROME 100 PLUS Film (in Press-Pacs).These films are intended for photojournalists and other professionalphotographers who use large amounts of film where refrigerated storageis not possible.
The Lens/Shutter or Point and Shoot 35mm
Lens/shutter cameras have lenses affixed to the camera body and incorporate the shutter in the lens. Cameras of this type separate the viewfinder from the lens; that is, the scene is observed with the light coming through the finder, not the light coming through the lens. This may cause some shift in what is seen and what is taken, especially with close-ups; this is known as the "parallax effect". Focusing systems may be automatic (via an "active infrared" system that sends out a beam of infrared light and ranges distance based upon reflection) or fixed, which means the lens is set at one focusing distance. Autofocus lens/shutter cameras set focusing "zones" rather than focusing upon a discrete distance; generally, the more the zones the more precise the focus. Less expensive cameras have what's called a "focus free" system, an odd term that means that the camera is set at one focusing distance. Focus with these cameras is less precise. Lens/shutter cameras may have an integral single focal length or a zoom lens; the latter allows for a variety of angles of view. In most, exposure and film handling is automatic, with a built-in flash that fires when the light sensor detects a need. Because the flash is mounted in the body close to the lens, pictures of people and pets in darkened rooms can yield an effect called "red eye", a demonic look that is particularly disturbing in small children. An attempt is made to reduce this problem with a "red-eye reduction" flash setting, which sends out a burst of pre-flash light to, theoretically, cause the subject's pupils to constrict, thus to reduce "red-eye" in the picture. More expensive lens/shutter cameras have a variety of exposure modes (shooting "scripts" that set the camera up for various lighting and subject conditions), and even allow for some focus and exposure control. Point-and-shoot cameras are perfect for candid pictures of the family, vacation snapshots and casual photography that requires little user input or effort. While lens/shutter cameras with more advanced features are available, the simplicity of use is their main appeal. Point and shoot 35mm cameras offer a larger film size than 24mm Advanced Photo System cameras. All other things being equal (quality lens, good exposure) the 35mm film offers a slight advantage when big enlargements are made. The three picture format options and compact size of the 24mm cameras may also appeal, thus the choice between the two may come down to personal taste and the appeal of the camera's design and handling. Here are some differentiating points among 35mm point and shoot cameras: Lens - Zoom or Fixed Focal Length:A zoom lens offers a number of angles of view in one lens. This is the most versatile choice. Fixed focal length lenses, however, may allow for shooting without flash in dimmer light and may have a slight edge in sharpness. The ratio, or range of the zoom should also be considered. Some point and shoot cameras offer a fairly limited zoom range, for example, from 38 to 55mm. This is a slightly wide to normal angle of view. Others offer wide range from wide to telephoto, such as 38 to 105mm. This offers greater shooting flexibility. Autofocus or Focus Free:An autofocus point and shoot camera automatically focuses on the subject in the center of the viewfinder. Some models may offer focus lock, which means that you can place a subject at the center of the finder, lock focus and then recompose so that the subject can be placed at the side of the frame without fear of losing focus on it. Focus free means that the lens is set at a fixed focusing distance. Autofocus in point and shoot cameras works in zones. The greater the number of zones the more precise the focusing. Flash Modes:One of the ways that lens shutter cameras offer exposure control is through flash modes. This allows you to choose how a scene will be rendered in both daylight and dim light. The more the flash mode options the more creative you can become. Be sure to get a camera with red-eye reduction mode. This works with a pre-flash prior to the flash used for exposure and does reduce the red-eye effect often seen when photographing people indoors. Flash off, or flash defeat turns the flash off even if the light is low. This comes in handy when photographing in situations when flash is prohibited or would be indiscreet. Daylight fill flash is used when the subject is in shadow or when the sun is behind the subject outdoors. It yields better picture quality in many instances. Slow sync or night flash mode uses both the ambient (prevailing) and flash light for exposure. It gives a more natural look to flash scenes made in low light, as it extends exposure to bring in more of the background light quality in a scene. Date Back:This is available in QD models and it allows you to have the date, time and sometimes custom captions imprinted on the back or the face of the print. Picture Modes:Because most lens shutter cameras allow for no user input on actual aperture and shutter speed settings, some cameras offer picture modes that can enhance the type of picture you want to make. When set, these modes program the exposure and focusing system to perform in various ways. Portrait mode, for example, makes the background less sharp than the subject and adds a sense of dimension to portrait subjects. Infinity mode sets the lens to focus at infinity. Because these cameras work with an infrared beam to set focus, any interference in the beam reflectance will cause focusing on that particular spot. If you're photographing through a window, for example, the beam will stop at the window pane and cause the background to go unsharp. Setting the camera on infinity mode will bypass the focusing system and cause the lens to focus beyond the obstruction. Close-up mode can be used for pictures of flowers and other close-up subjects. This sets the lens focus accordingly. Many cameras will have a focus confirmation signal that will inform you when you are focusing too close. Setting close-up mode ensures that you'll be able to focus closer than normal. Action mode programs the camera to set as fast a shutter speed as possible and is great for sports or subjects in motion. In short, picture modes allow you to customize the camera for particular shooting scenarios. They may be a bit confusing at first, but they can be a great help in getting better pictures.

Tripods and Monopods
When photographing handheld at slow shutter speeds there is an inherent danger that a certain amount of camera shake will record on film. The degree of shake is dependent upon just how slow the shutter speed is, how long a lens is mounted on the camera, and how steadily the camera is held. Generally, with moderate or short focal length lenses, camera shake becomes a factor at 1/60 or 1/30 second, although some photographers claim that they can handhold without shake at speeds as slow as 1/15 second.
The problem becomes multiplied as focal length increases; as the lens becomes heavier or longer, even the steadiest photographer needs help. As a guideline, follow the reciprocal focal length rule: put a 1/ over the focal length in use, and that's the minimum shutter speed that will usually guarantee a steady picture. For example, if shooting with a 250mm lens, 1/250 second is probably the slowest speed to shoot handheld.
Camera shake is virtually eliminated with the use of a tripod, a three-legged device with camera-mounting platform, and is reduced somewhat with a monopod, a single-legged version. The camera is attached to the tripod or monopod on a platform via a screw that fits the recessed bushing on the bottom plate of the camera. Certain long lenses also have recessed bushings on a ring mount around the lens barrel. The lens mount shifts the weight from the camera body to the often heavier telephoto lens. Quick-release plates attach to both camera and tripod, and allow for mounting and disengaging without having to screw or unscrew the camera from the platform.
Here are some matters to consider when looking for a tripod:
Height Adjustment:The height of the tripod can be adjusted for different users or points of view. Each leg of the tripod can be extended two or three times the compacted height via a telescoping tube system. Once extended, the legs are made fast by tightening a bolt or snapping closed a swiveled lock. At the base of each leg is a rubber pad, which both protects flooring and carpeting and creates a non-skid contact. On many tripods these pads can be removed and replaced with points, more suited to working in the great outdoors, where it can be secured by literally sticking it into the ground. Match tripod height to your own and to others who might be using the equipment. Make sure that a comfortable viewing height does not require full extension of the legs. This may cause instability and the danger of tipping.
Tripod Weight:In general, thick-legged tripods are both heavier and more secure, although more expensive pro tripods use lightweight metal to cut down on the weight. When considering a tripod, this weight/security tradeoff must be taken into account. The use of the tripod--for field shooting or in the studio--will often determine which is more important.
Tripod Capability - Camera Size:The size and weight of the camera will also play a role in this choice; make sure the tripod is designed for the camera at hand. But be aware of the overall weight and what it will mean--trudging through the woods with a very heavy tripod will dampen anyone's enthusiasm for photography before long. If a lightweight tripod is used avoid extending the legs to their maximum height, as this may result in a top-heavy condition, causing the setup to topple with the slightest touch or breeze. Take note of this when buying such a tripod, and be aware that this may reduce its useful extension-length by as much as a third. The top plate, or tripod head must be able to handle the size and weight of the camera. It also should swivel and lock for shooting in both vertical and horizontal positions. Nearly all tripods have this feature, but less lightweight models tend to give less support on the vertical plane.
Compact Tripods:Very compact tripods, which telescope down to a foot or less for easy carrying, are available in both thin- and thick-legged versions. Their compactness limits their extension length, but they can be useful for working close to the ground or on a table top. They can also be stood up on a car hood or roof, or even on a flat rock for general outdoor work. Their size makes them a constant and unobtrusive part of most every camera bag.
Center Post Extensions:While the leg extensions are one way to raise and lower the camera level, many tripods also have a center post extensions. This post may be raised with a hand crank located near the tripod "neck" or via a push/pull air-cushion system. Generally, use center post extensions for fine tuning levels--raising them to their maximum height can effect overall stability, particularly with heavier cameras. Once the desired level is attained, with leg and/or center post extensions, always lock-in the adjustments--slippage can be disastrous.
Leg Options:Tripods have either fixed legs (they can only be spread so far) or legs that splay in any number of configurations, even at different extensions. If working indoors a fixed leg model is fine; if shooting on rough terrain a more flexible tripod can be leveled to match any topography, even uphill. Working with a bubble level will help in evening out horizon lines.
Tripod Heads:Quality tripods allow for interchangeable heads. For example, switching to a so-called panning head allows rotation of the camera with a handle along a horizontal or vertical plane. This is more useful for motion than still pictures, but can be used to "pan" along with a subject as it goes by--great for sports or wildlife--or merely to swing around the scene to find the best composition. A ball head allows rotation to any angle; this ball and socket arrangement also has a threaded camera screw. Ball heads need some getting used to, but in many ways are the most versatile heads, as they allow virtually any camera position.
Monopods:Monopods, as the name implies, are one-legged camera supports that usually come with a simple threaded screw platform head, although many allow for interchangeable heads as well. A favorite of sports photographers--who often must move quickly to follow the action or avoid it--they are often utilized for working with long telephoto lenses. Monopods are extended by the same telescoping leg system as tripods. Though not as stable as their tri-legged cousins for very long exposures, they do give more stability than handheld shooting in the 1/30 to 1/8 second range. The charm of a monopod is that it takes up very little space and can be used as a substitute for a tripod in many situations.
Tripod Accessory:One small accessory that is a natural mate to a tripod or monopod is a cable release. Available in lengths that range from 6-inches to a few feet, the release allows shutter firing without the need to touch the camera. This comes in handy for long exposures, as it eliminates the danger of accidental camera shake caused by the pressure of the finger as it hits the release button. In fact, lack of a cable release may actually defeat the purpose of a tripod.
A cable release is a long wire inside a cloth or metallic binding; when a plunger on one end of the wire is pressed a pin on the other injects into the threaded shutter release socket to fire the shutter. Some cameras have electronic cable releases, which generate a small charge which sets off the shutter. Radio or remote control releases allow for firing from as far as 200 feet away.
Tripod Investment:There's no question a tripod is necessary, regardless of the camera format, for macro photography, with long telephoto lenses and for night or low light photography. That's why buying the best tripod one can afford is an excellent investment; an unsteady, unwieldy tripod is next to useless
Digital Camera Care Tips
1. Where you go, your camera goes. If you are comfortable, your camera is probably comfortable. This means to avoid leaving it in the car. In the Texas summer heat, the lubricants present in any mechanical part of your equipment can vaporize. When the environment cools, the lubricants are redistributed on unfriendly parts and cause all sorts of problems. This is the primary cause of overexposure due to oil getting sticky on the aperature blades in a lens. Extreme cold can cause condensation to occur inside your camera. If the cold cannot be avoided, you can reduce this problem by placing your camera in a plastic bag and removing all the air. Condensation cannot occur in a vacuum.
2. If your strap is on the camera....use it! A dangling wrist or neckstrap can catch on something and pull your equipment out of your hand. Many ,once in lifetime shots, have been missed because of a strap hanging in the way. A strap can be used to keep your camera secure, determine a marked focusing distance for macro shots or help to steady your shot when a tripod is not available. If you are not going to use the strap, take it off the camera. This will give you a little more room in your bag.
3. Always turn your camera off before removing the memory card, connecting to a computer or changing lenses. Always turn your camera OFF before removing the memory card, connecting to a computer or changing lenses! Yes, I said it twice.
4. Format your memory card often and only from the camera. It is best to avoid deleting unless you are just out of room on the card and need to shoot more. I worked in a photo lab and I have seen all those images that folks thought they deleted. I prefer using a card reader as opposed to hooking the camera up to the computer. I recommend moving the images to your computer after every shooting event, making a back up of some kind, and reformatting the card. Now comes the most important part.....PUT THE MEMORY CARD BACK INTO THE CAMERA! Do I even have to go there?5. Always keep a spare battery charged. Avoid using alkaline batteries. They only last about 10 minutes anyway and sometimes the cameras get hot. Nickel Metal Hydride rechargables or Lithium Ion are your batteries of choice. The Nickel Metal Hydride battery looks like AA alkalines, but are rechargable and last longer than alkalines. Look for the higher 2300-2600 miliamps for better performance. The Lithium Ion battery can be much smaller and last longer between charges. These are more expensive.
6. Avoid frequent lens changes on a DSLR. When you do have to change lenses, make sure you are out of the elements. If you should get dust on your sensor, take it in to be cleaned unless you are trained.
7, Use a good bag for protection. Most Digital cameras do not like wet weather. I keep plastic bags on me when I travel.
8. When traveling, especially if you fly frequently, keep your camera from getting any direct contact with the floor. When possible, the camera should be cradled in the top part of your bag or better yet, placed on a seat with you. When I worked at a camera store, I could always tell who the Pilots were......all the screws were missing from their cameras! The constant vibration of an engine will work the screws loose.
9. Ok, you now that you know to keep your camera comfortable, use your strap effectively, have your memory card in the camera and your batteries fully charged; you can join us on one of our regular adventure field trips to learn even more about your camera.

Stop Bladder Infections With Cranberry
Cranberry is a fruit native to North America. It typically grows in bogs, and commercial production is mainly performed in Massachusetts and Wisconsin.
For ages, cranberry has been used for the prevention and treatment of urinary tract infections. Research suggests that it prevents bacteria from adhering to host cell surface membranes. It was used by Native Americans to treat ailments of the bladder and kidneys. The cranberry was documented in the 17th century as a treatment for several ailments, including:
* Blood disorders * Liver problems, vomiting and stomach ailments * Loss of appetite * Scurvy *Cancer
Cranberry was used as an effective treatment for urinary tract infections long before antibiotics were invented. It is still recommended by physicians to be used in conjunction with a prescribed round of antibiotics for treating bladder infections.
Important Facts
Statistically, one in every five women in the United States suffers from bladder infections in her lifetime. Three percent of these women suffer from recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs). Approximately 11 million women each year receive medications to treat UTIs. Studies show that women with a history of bladder infections can reduce the frequency of those infections by regularly drinking cranberry juice.
There have been no significant reactions discovered between cranberry and prescription drugs. Drinking cranberry juice a minimum of three times per day during treatment of a bladder infection will increase the need to urinate. This helps your body to rid itself of the infection through ingestion and expulsion of fluids.
Pharmacology of Cranberry
The use of cranberry for medicinal purposes has been the subject of many scientific discussions. At first, it was thought that acidification of the urine assisted in creating an antibacterial effect. However, the primary reason that cranberry works so well for treating bladder infections is its prevention of bacterial adhesion to cell walls. It also prevents adherence by other gram-negative uropathogens that cause infection. Cranberry's ability to inhibit the adherence of bacteria has been shown through in vitro research.
Other Uses
One study showed that the same property in cranberry juice that prevents bladder infections also aids in dental plaque prevention. Additionally, cranberry has been discovered to be a recommended treatment for Candida (yeast) infections.
Further in vitro studies show that cranberry has an inhibiting effect on certain types of fungi. However, there are no human trials that indicate its effectiveness in treating fungal infections when used alone.
Symptoms of a Bladder Infection
The most common symptom of an oncoming bladder infection is feeling a constant, urgent need to empty the bladder. This feeling is present even when there is little or no fluid in the bladder. Other symptoms may include:
* Frequent urination * Dysuria (burning or painful urination) * Bladder spasms * Cloudy urine * Bloody urine * Foul-smelling urine * Mild fever
A bladder infection that has gone untreated for an extended period of time could turn into a kidney infection. This brings with it much more serious symptoms which may include fever, chills and nausea. You may also experience cloudy or bloody urine, painful urination and abdominal pain. A common telltale sign of kidney infection is back pain just above the waist.
If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, it is wise to contact your physician. Bladder infection symptoms will not go away by themselves. They will continue to worsen, and your infection will become much more serious. Treatment for bladder infections is quick and easy. The sooner you begin the better.
If you suspect that you are about to experience a bladder infection, begin a regimen of drinking cranberry juice or supplement at least three times a day and make an appointment with your doctor.
Preventing Bladder Infections
There are several precautions you can take to prevent bladder infections. Some may seem obvious or silly, but after your first infection you will think very differently. Some of these precautions include:
* Wipe from front to back after urination or a bowel movement. This prevents the spread of bacteria.
* Go to the bathroom frequently. Holding urine in the bladder for long periods of time invites an infection.
* Keep the genital area clean and dry. Avoid prolonged moisture in the area.
* Avoid frequent bubble baths. They can cause vaginal irritation.
* Try to urinate soon after sexual activity. If lubricants are used, use only those that are water-soluble.
* Underwear with a cotton crotch will aid in infection prevention as well.
Drink a lot of water throughout the day. Also, drink cranberry juice or cranberry supplement to keep the urine acidic. This will prevent natural bacteria from multiplying as frequently, thus avoiding bladder infection.

Natural Products Association - Advocacy Update
Recently, the Natural Products Association has experienced a flurry of activity on the legislative front. One month ago, Natural Products Association members went to Washington, D.C. to meet with their representatives and discuss legislation important to the association and the industry. Many who could not visit Washington in person were part of our "virtual march" on Washington that delivered e-mails, petitions, and videos to Congress on the importance of natural products. Natural Products Day was a great success, boasting higher than ever attendance at our evening Congressional reception, and resulting in additional co-sponsors for S. 771, the Child Nutrition Promotion and School Lunch Protection Act sponsored by Tom Harkin (D-Iowa). The bill now boasts co-sponsorship of more than a quarter of the Senate. Its companion bill in the House of Representatives, H.R. 1363, sponsored by Lynn Woolsey (D-Calif.), has gained an additional five co-sponsors as the result of Natural Products Day meetings and now has 140 co-sponsors. These bills continue to build momentum, thanks to your support.
More recently, the Natural Products Association urged supporters to contact their legislators to include an amendment to the "Farm Bill" allowing food stamp recipients to purchase dietary supplements. This provision was similar to free-standing bills that have been introduced in the current and previous Congresses by Sens. Harkin and Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) and have earned the association's support. Although the amendment advanced further than other versions in previous sessions, it did not make the final Farm Bill, which was reported out of conference today. The good news is that the Farm Bill did contain significant increases in nutrition programs and increased funding for organic farming, another supported goal of the Natural Products Association. Because of the strong effort of our supporters on the amendment's behalf, the bill was placed on Congress's radar screens and has greatly improved the chances as stand-alone legislation, S. 770, the Food Stamp Vitamin and Mineral Improvement Act, of seeing passage. We will continue to ask for support on this important bill as this legislative session progresses.
In addition, the Natural Products Association has been leading the fight to protect Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), and to keep this important, safe, and effective supplement available to elderly consumers. The same players behind S. 762, which would wrongly classify DHEA as an anabolic steroid, proposed S. 2470 in late 2007 as a misplaced reaction the release of the Mitchell Report, which chronicled the abuse of steroids by professional baseball players. Although DHEA has no performance enhancing attributes, this bill was proposed to limit the access of minors to DHEA. The Natural Products Association and its supporters have worked hard to inform Congress of the benefits of DHEA, and that it is not an anabolic steroid and should not be classified as one. We have been able so far to prevent any movement on the bill, but the association continues to monitor its progress and make sure that this supplement remains accessible to the seniors who need it most.
Thanks to your help, the Natural Products Association continues to have an active presence on Capitol Hill that is felt by legislators. We could not do it without the help of you, our supporters, who know how important it is to stand up for natural products. The impact of your messages to legislators continues to help the Natural Products Association to ensure all natural products - from natural and organic foods to dietary supplements and health and beauty aids - are accessible to Americans. With your continued support we will continue to be known as a vocal group with a wide base of support through the rest of this legislative session and beyond.

Adapt to Physical and Psychological Stress with Eleutherococcus
Eleutherococcus, better known as Siberian Ginseng, is best known for increasing endurance and stamina in people who use it on a regular basis. It is also known for its properties that aid the body in fighting fatigue and stress. Keeping both of these physical stressors under control will improve the body’s ability to optimize physical and mental performance.
Eleutherococcus is an adaptogen. This means that it will help the body maintain a normal adrenal function in order to reduce stress and combat disease. This species of ginseng is generally used for boosting and maintaining the immune system. It plays a major role in increasing resistance to mild infections and colds.
How to Use Eleutherococcus
This herbal product should be taken by mouth. The dosage will depend on the source of the herb and the purpose of its use. As with any species of ginseng, Eleutherococcus may cause sleep difficulties. It is; therefore, wise to avoid taking the product near your usual bedtime. It is also recommended that you do not take Eleutherococcus for more than three weeks at a time continual use will reduce its effectiveness.
What Does it Work for?
* Fatigue (physical and psychological). Fatigue is one of the most common complaints of people in the general population. It often poses a problem for the patient, as well as the physician trying to treat them. It is usually caused by endocrine dysfunction of the thyroid and/or adrenal glands.
* Hypothyroidism. This is caused when there is low thyroid hormone function. The result is less energy production at the cellular level. This causes the metabolic rate of the body to plummet. The thyroid also controls growth, transcription of genes, carbohydrate and fat metabolism, heart rate, blood volume heartbeat, muscle contraction, digestion, gastrointestinal function and endocrine hormones.
* Low adrenal function. The adrenal glands secrete steroid hormones including cortisol, aldosterone, and dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA). An imbalance in these hormones can cause a wealth of other health problems. It can also activate a regular stress response in the body, which takes its toll on overall healthy function of the body and mind.
Side Effects
Common side effects of using Siberian Ginseng may include agitation, headache, nervousness and trouble sleeping. If you experience diarrhea, fast or irregular heartbeat, skin rash or unusual vaginal bleeding, discontinue use and contact your pharmacist or physician immediately.
Who Should Not Use Eleutherococcus
If you suffer from any of the following health problems, you should consult a physician before using Eleutherococcus:
* Cancer * Fever * High blood pressure * Low blood pressure * Diabetes * Heart problems * Allergies
If you have allergy issues with any species of ginseng, you should avoid all of them. Ginseng may lower blood sugar levels. Diabetic patients should carefully monitor their blood levels while taking this product. Liquid forms of this product may contain sugar and/or alcohol. If you suffer from diabetes, alcoholism or liver disease, use extreme caution. This product is not recommended for use by women who are pregnant or breast-feeding.
It is important to consult your pharmacist or someone you know is trained and educated in the use of Eleutherococcus. Some products have been found to contain additives and impurities that may be harmful to the consumer. Only use the purest forms of Siberian Ginseng that are available to you.
Aside from the specific conditions listed, Eleutherococcus can play an important role in the overall health of the mind and body. Every aspect of our physical health relies on the health and normal function of all of our internal systems. Our psychological health also relies on these systems all working in unison with each other. A healthy and balanced mental state requires an ever-present inner harmony.

Boost Immunity to Springtime Colds with Echinacea
Every year people get bogged down with stuffy noses, watery eyes, congestion, sore throats, headaches and sneezing. The common cold rears its ugly head when the snow finally melts away and the trees get their tiny buds. Spring is normally a time when a lot of colds and viruses are passed around. It is inconvenient not only because of the annoying symptoms; it also makes us miss days of work or school. It interrupts our lives for days at a time. Few people can afford the luxury of taking off from everything they are expected to do for that period of time.
The springtime cold season doesn’t have to be a problem for you, though. You can boost your immunity to cold and flu symptoms with echinacea. This herb can reduce the time you spend nursing a cold and get you back on your feet much faster than waiting it out or taking prescription drugs.
What is Echinacea?
Echinacea is a flowering plant, also known as the purple coneflower, found in the North American plains. This powerful plant has long been used as a medical alternative to stimulate the immune system and protect the body from infection and disease. Echinacea is most commonly found in herbal teas and in extract form and is used as a home remedy for the spring time cold season.
How Echinacea Boosts Immunity
Echinacea works like a natural antibiotic. It attacks toxins in the blood to fight off disease and strengthen the immune system. It also reduces inflammation in the body. Typically, it is more effective if you start taking it at the first sign of a cold. The most popular use for echinacea is to reduce the duration and severity of colds, respiratory infections and sinus problems.
Inconclusive Data and Controversy about Echinacea
There are a large number of studies that have been done of the echinacea herb to determine if it is actually helpful in reducing the common cold. The problem is the results are not consistent. Part of this is because different parts of the flower have been used in different studies. Some report that echinacea is effective at boosting immunity and speeding up recovery from the springtime cold. Others say there is not a significant difference in the duration of a cold when using Echinacea.
One thing to consider about the herb is the possible side effects. No major side effects have been cited regarding the use of echinacea; however, it could cause an allergic reaction. It is also possible to develop rash or asthma from taking echinacea.
Recently, researchers have started to look at the collective data on echinacea to determine if it is truly effective at treating colds and preventing diseases. According to a review in The Lancet Infection Diseases, "published evidence supports echinacea’s benefit in decreasing the incidence and duration of the common cold." The review went on to state: "Echinacea decreased the odds of developing the common cold by 58 percent and the duration of a cold by 1.4 days."
This is promising news, which confirms the use of Echinacea can reduce the severity of a cold and speed the recovery process along so you can get back to your regular routine that much faster.

Vitamin E is a known natural supplement and antioxidant that helps support the immune and cardiovascular systems. It is created by a natural process so that you can receive the purest form available. It is formed when natural d-alpha tocopherol is combined with a phosphate molecule. This combination protects the potency of Vitamin E until your body needs it the most.
Ester E is processed so that its natural benefits are preserved to give the body the most optimal benefit possible. This is why Ester E is the best form of Vitamin E available. Vitamin E is known to aid in the following actions:
* Preventing Alzheimer’s disease* Reducing vision problems* Preventing heart problems* Protecting cell membranes* Flushing LDL cholesterol
Vitamin E Food Sources:
* Nuts* Oils* Whole grains* Spinach* Asparagus* Avocado* Carrots* Celery* Apples* Beef* Seafood
How Vitamin E Works:
Manufacturers suggest that Ester E be taken along with a meal that includes some form of fat. This is because when fat is combined with Vitamin E, it is more readily absorbed. Since the supplement is fat soluble, this aids in delivery to the cells of the body.
Vitamin E is an essential nutrient because the body cannot produce it on its own. If you are not ingesting the proper amounts of it in your daily diet, you need to take a supplement. It is important to remember that improper preparation, cooking and storage can result in the loss of Vitamin E from the food.
Vitamin E is actually a combination of antioxidants, tocopherols and tocotrienols. Unfortunately, only alpha-tocopherol is actively maintained in the body. Therefore a supplement is needed to be sure the body is getting enough of the other ingredients that make up the complete Vitamin E.
Why do we need Vitamin E?
Part of its job is to protect Vitamin A and essential fatty acids from oxidation. When oxidation occurs in the cells, it breaks down body tissues.
Vitamin E Benefits:
Vitamin E has been found to aid in the prevention of heart disease. The oxidation of LDL cholesterol causes blockages in the coronary arteries. This often leads to atherosclerosis and heart attack. Vitamin E helps to prevent or at least delay these effects by limiting this oxidation. This has reduced the mortality rate due to coronary disease.
In its complete form, Vitamin E may be effective in reducing the risk of breast cancer in women who are genetically predisposed. It is being tested for its effectiveness in not only reducing the incidence of breast cancer, but also in inhibiting breast cancer cell growth.
Vitamin E is thought to protect the body against many forms of cancer due to its ability to increase immune system function. As an antioxidant, Vitamin E protects the body against the damaging effects of free radicals. These are believed to contribute to cancer cell production and the development of other chronic diseases. Vitamin E may also block formation of nitrosamines. These are carcinogens that form in the stomach from nitrites consumed through diet.
Another possible benefit to optimal amounts of Vitamin E in the diet is the prevention of cataracts. The clarity of the lens of the eye contributes to the formation of cataracts, blindness and eye disease. Vitamin E is being found to aid in the prevention of eye problems in people of all ages.
Vitamin E Warnings:
Vitamin E can produce harmful side effects if it is combined with certain medications. Consult your doctor before taking any dietary supplement to be sure it is safe for your use.
When taken as a supplement in its complete form, Vitamin E is nutritive and helpful in maintaining good health. Be sure when purchasing Vitamin E supplements that you are using Ester E for optimal benefits.

Educating Your Patients is Key in Dental Marketing
In reviewing a couple Yellow Pages ads for clients today, I noticed one thing common to them. They both listed CEREC as one of the features of their office."CEREC One Day Crowns/Onlays"Before I go any further, let me say that I love CEREC, it really provides a great service to the patient, and I think that no dental practice should be without one. With that said, the general public wouldn't know the difference between a CEREC and a Subaru.Just because I am in the dental industry, I know CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. I also know that because I just checked the website. But ask any person off the street what CEREC stands for, and they will just give you a blank look. Heck, most people don't know what LASER or RADAR stand for, or even that they are acronyms. The fact is, if you are going to promote CEREC, you need to make sure to break it down into its pieces. Make it so simple, a 5th grader could understand it (that's the method USA Today uses). Don't trust that your patients know what you know. They don't spend years in dental school, attending CE courses, or even subscribe to DentalTown Magazine. They know little if anything about dentistry and the technology that accompanies it."Crowns in one visit" is a good start, but remember, how many people out there know what a crown is, and more importantly, what problems it solves. That's the key, and here is the advertisement - Do you experience or have:Pain when chewing?Sensitivity to cold or hot food and drinks?Chipped or cracked teeth? Then you may need a dental crown. Come in and experience the convenience of our ONE VISIT crown service with the help of our CEREC aided design. With CEREC, we take pictures of the broken, chipped, or cracked tooth then design, construct, and attach the permanent restoration to your tooth, many times in one visit. At other dental offices you'll have to wait sometimes up to 2 weeks for the restoration to return, but with our CEREC technology, we'll have your smile bright, healthy, and pain free in ONE VISIT.Ok, so it is quite a rough example, but you get the picture. With the advancements in dental technology now-a-days, you need to really educate your patients on how your services can benefit them. Also, this is a very focused advertisement, targeting only those with dental pain. It will not draw those in that are simply looking for a general dentist. And, most importantly, remember, 99.9% of your patients have never been to dental school.
